Description

Dynam P-61 Black Widow 4S Twin Engine Radio Controlled Warbird Airplane 1500mm 59" Wingspan w/ Flaps - PNP/BNF/RTF-8C - DY8973

P-61 Black Widow is a twin-engine, twin-boom bomber with tricycle landing gear. It is the first operational U.S. warplane designed as a night fighter with a nearly all-black appearance and the first aircraft designed to use radar. We are proud to launch the Dynam P-61 Black Widow 1500mm (59") RC twin-engined warbird. It has a familiar scale outline and excellent flight performance. P-61 enthusiasts can easily take the Dynam P-61 Black Widow warbird home and fly in the sky with great enjoyment.

With its impressive wingspan and high-quality EPO construction, this P-61 Black Widow plane will surely provide hours of enjoyable flying time. The attention to detail on this model is second to none, with accurate paint and markings replicating the real-life P-61 Black Widow. The included GAVIN 8-CH 2.4Ghz remote controller is easy to use and provides smooth and precise control over the aircraft.

Dynam P-61 Black Widow 1500mm twin-engined warbird has a black appearance with a red pattern that deserves the title of Black Widow. Two-tiered canopy design and all-transparent tail cone fully reflect the P-61 features. Both top and bottom turrets have four guns, and the former can change the direction of pilots. There are bombs and an auxiliary fuel tank on the lower fuselage, which has excellent detail.

Adopt two Detrum BM3512A-KV650 motors to provide enough power and uses two Tomcat Skylord 40A ESCs to control precisely. 4S 14.8V 4000mAh Li-Po 25C Lipo battery can greatly extend the flight time for pilots. The counter-rotating 10.5*8*4 propellers effectively bring good flight performance. The four flaps design can increase the takeoff speed and reduce the landing speed, making the flight smooth. There are four navigation lights on the Dynam P-61 Black Widow. The light on the left wing tip is red, and the light on the right is green. The two lights on the landing edge of the wing are white. Pilots can understand the location and working direction of the airplane during the night flight by these lights.

What's the difference between RTF, BNF, and PNP?

PNP (Plug-N-Play) RC airplanes have everything you need EXCEPT a transmitter, receiver, and battery pack (battery & charger). It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, and servos.

BNF (Bind-N-Fly) RC airplanes come with everything you need to get in the air EXCEPT the Transmitter and battery pack (battery & charger). It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, and an iStone gyro receiver. They are easy to use, versatile, and safe, making them the perfect choice for beginners and experienced pilots. The BNF (Bind and Fly) version, receivers such as the MSR66A work exclusively with Detrum transmitters.

Dynam SRTF version is based on the standard RTF (Ready to Fly), which integrates the iStone 6-Axis Gyro Stabilizer w/ ABS System: RC airplanes get everything in a box to fly. The radio system (Transmitter and receiver), battery pack (battery and charger), and all other required electric parts are included and pre-installed. It contains model kits, Detrum motors, TomCat Skylord ESCs, servos, Detrum transmitters, iStone gyro receivers, battery, charger, and adapter. RTF planes are a great way to enjoy the thrill of flying without too much hassle.

iStone Gyro Receiver (The receiver integrated with iStone stabilizer):

Six-axis gyro high-precision stabilization function, auto-recovery, one-click rescue. Incredibly accurate and greatly improves the flying experience.

Regarding different aircraft, the parameter and sensitivity of the gyro receiver can be programmed with a Detrum transmitter (Gavin6C/Gavin8C/Blitz DT9) directly.

Quick and easy setup process. If you don't want Gyro to join the flight, just choose Gyro off mode on Transmitter.

Notes: If you want to be equipped with GPS autopilot or receiver, don't hesitate to contact us.

Black Widow

Maiden flight today went great. Plane takes off smooth and flies on rails. Not too fast but loops and rolls smoothly. Had to trim a lot of foam to get parts to join together but found the addition of plugs for the outer wing aileron, flaps and lights a blessing. Don't like the solenoid used for the nose wheel retract, The solenoid separated from it's pressed-on mounting plate on landing breaking both props and scuffing up the nose. Recommend the nose wheel solenoid be replaced with a one-piece solenoid/mounting plate.

Dynam P-61 Black widow

Recently, as a result of pilot error, I crashed my Dynam P-61 Black Widow which had over 300 flights. Be advised, that in order to achieve that many flights, it required the replacement of some components, The elevator servo failed during a flight, early on. The retracts failed on many occasions resulting in broken propellors, and therfore necessitating their replacement. Just to name the most critical. Ultimately, it performed very well. It was the only one of its kind flying at our club field and at many events I attended. Rarely, have I ever replaced a plane with another of the same, however this is one, that I felt was worth replacing, even though it will require the same improvements. It is unique, and a worthy enough model to have to fly.
